Well, it's finally happening!  My website is slowly getting updated, my new pricing will be released soon, and I will have a section on my blog for Hints and Tips for a successful session.  Everything is on its way.

I was going to wait to unveil everything at the same time, but reality stepped in and I realized that I will have to just add as I go.  Until I can get myself an administrative assistant, I'm all I have to deal with.  And if any of you know me, then you feel what I'm saying!

Last year, I decided to follow my passion a bit more and bring some fun props and clothes for my dancers.  Lo and behold, the concept took off!  So, this year, I decided to start building a bit of a wardrobe offering as an option to my sessions.  So far, I have invested in a portable changing room, which was desperately needed, as well as some outfits that I fell in love with, and some fun props.  As the year goes on, I'm sure I will be collecting more.

To kick off the launch of my new blog, I decided to start with my first session of the year!  Miss Audrey is a recipient of my first drawing ever!  She won it last June, but we were just able to get together now.  And I dare say, it worked in her favor!

I brought some of my new items to the session and we played with what we had!  As I was shooting in one of the dresses I brought, I literally got chills.  I knew this was the right decision.  We started off with some headshots and then quickly jumped into fun poses, different outfits and finally to some dance shots.  I've known Audrey for many years and have photographed her before, but this was our first one on one session.  I can't tell you how blessed it is to have repeat clients and to see the trust grow.  It adds so much to your sessions.

We didn't get to all the items I brought, but it wasn't for lack of trying.  The sun went down on us, and the chill came in.  So we called it a night.

I want to thank Audrey and her mom, Lucinda for the making this possible.

I am so excited about the changes this year and I think Audreys session will give you a good glimpse into what is in store.

If you have any questions you would like answered about photography, please let me know, so I can create a Q&A section in my Hints and Tips.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I look forward to seeing you on the other side of my lens!
